Carl Ragets, 83, of Dillionvale (Bradley) OH, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 in East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH.Carl was born August 2, 1925 in Piney Fork, OH, son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kozub) Ragets.Carl was a retired Wheeling-Pitt Steel Employee having worked in the Mingo Plant Pipe Shop; he was a member of the Pine Valley and Jewett Sportsman's Clubs and also AARP.In addition to his parents Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine who passed away December 23, 1998; five brothers, John, Joseph, William, Marion and Andrew Ragets; three sisters, Ann Kornetti, Josephine Hanks, Mary Ragets.Carl is survived by three sons, Frankie (Lubba) Ragets of Brooklyn, NY, Stanley (Sherry) Ragets of Hopedale, OH, and Michael (Sandy) Ragets of Canton, OH; one brother Walter Ragets of Naples, FL; three grandsons, Stanley Joshua Ragets, Matthew Edward Ragets and Mark Thomas Ragets.Visitation for Carl will be held on Tuesday, December 30 from 4-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH where Carl's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens. www.jefosterfh.com
