Carol Ann Stewart, 67, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville.

Carol was born Nov. 2, 1954, in Steubenville, daughter of the late Floyd F. and Barbara Ann (Hinkle) Stewart.

Carol was a 1973 graduate of Steubenville Big Red and Eastern Gateway (Jeff Tech) with a degree in accounting. She started her career with S. Powell Construction Co. and retired from the accounting dept. of the DAnniballe Co. in Steubenville. She was also a member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church.

She leaves behind a sister, Diana (Dan) Kelly, a brother, Bruce Stewart, and a best friend, Janet (Tim) Grimes. Carol was an aunt to, Kristina Kelly, Kari (Aaron) Owen, Avery, Ara, and Ivy Nowlin, Dan (Desarea) Daniel, Andrew Kelly, Tim Kelly, Justin (Angela Hazeltine) and Caitlynn, Justin, Justice, Jewlynn Martin, Linsey (Shawn Babel) Stewart and Teagan; sister-in-law, Robin Martin; Godmother to Jason DiBenedetto, and honorary aunt and Atoot to many of Carols friends children.

A private family service will be held at the Union Cemetery in Steubenville at the convenience of the family. Carols arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.
