Caroline J. Pietrangelo 73 of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Thursday Aug. 11, 2005 in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. Caroline was born Dec. 31, 1931 in Wheeling, W.Va., daughter of the late Henry and Fern Linton Boyd. Caroline was a teacher in the former Smithfield School system and the present Buckeye Local School District retiring after 21 years of service. She is a member of the Smithfield Christian Church, where she served as a Deaconess, a member of the O.E.A., N.E.A., Buckeye Local P.T.A., J.C.T.A., and the W.Va. 4-H All-stars. Caroline is survived by her husband; Julius W. Pietrangelo of home, two Sons; Bruce and his wife Vicki Pietrangelo of Charlotte, N.C., Jonathan and his wife Nancy Pietrangelo of New Alexandria, Ohio, her Daughter; Julia Dawn and her husband Tim Snyder of Thousand Oaks, Calf. Her Grandchildren; Jonathan Jr. and Ashley Pietrangelo,Jeffrey Pietrangelo, Katie and Melissa Snyder. One brother; H. Calderwood Boyd and his wife Cecelia of Tridelphia, W.Va. A sister-in-law Mary Pietrangelo of Smithfield, Two brothers-in-law; Ralph Pietrangelo of Gulf Port, Miss. and Tony Pietrangelo of Cadiz. A family visitation will be held on Sunday from 2pm. til 5pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield. An open Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Smithfield Christian Church. Rev. Wilford Simeral officiate the Service and Rev. Harry Light will deliver Caroline's Eulogy.
