Carolyn Sue Rea, 72, of Rayland, OH, passed away March 2, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Weems, OH, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Ankrom) Reed.

Carolyn was a member of Weems Chapel and the Womens Auxiliary at the Brightway Center in Smithfield. She was previously employed as an Aide at both Weirton Geriatrics and Martha Manor.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Carolyn leaves behind her husband, Robert N. Rea, Sr.; her four sons, Robert N. Rea, Jr. of Rayland, John Rea of Mingo Jct., Jeff Rea and Troy (Kim) Rea both of Rayland; her sister, Janet Hamby of Raleigh, NC; her nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 1 pm at Weems Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. www.jefosterfh.com.
