E. Charlene (Andrews) Beatty, 91, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 in the Carriage House in Steubenville, OH.

Charlene was born Jan. 24, 1927 in Toronto, daughter of the late Charles C. and Wilda E. (Vance) Andrews.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto and the former owner/manager of Charlenes Beauty Shop also in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Beatty who passed in 2010, her sister, Betty Youmans and her brother, Harry Andrews.

Charlene leaves behind her daughter, Linda C. Beatty of Indianapolis, IN; her son, Dudley T. Beatty of Las Vegas, NV; her two sisters, Peggy Rae McCartney and Nina Gail Kavanagh both of Toronto and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Jan. 31 from 3-6 at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the funeral home. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate and burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto.
