Obituary
Charles E. Bennett, Jr., 72, of Mingo Jct., OH, passed away Friday Aug. 6, 2021, in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Charles was born March 25, 1949, in Summersville, WV, son of the late Charles E., Sr. and Mary (Hayes) Bennett.
He was a retired coal miner. Charles was a hard-working man, who loved to fish, work on cars, and digging roots.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, James Edward Bennett.
Surviving is wife, Linda Lee (Stull) Bennett, whom he married Jan. 30, 2004; daughter, Beverly (Carl) Haught of Smithfield, WV; 2 stepdaughters, Jackie of Dennison, OH and Donna (Mark) Raddy of FL; 4 stepsons, Johnnie Davidson of Bolivar, OH, Louie (Carrie) Davidson of Dennison, OH, John and Jimmie Vance both of WV; sister, Kay Burns Stephan of Watertown, OH, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday August 11, 2021, from 5 to 8 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Burial will be held at the convenience of Charles family. www.jefosterfh.com
