Charles W. Crawford, 53, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Adena, OH, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 at his home.

Charles was born June 16, 1962 son of the late Shriver Eugene and Nancy Lou Taylor Crawford.

He was currently employed with Ty-Riffic Landscaping and Tree Work and was known to all as Chainsaw Charlie. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and loved riding his bike. He also loved spending his spare time with his daughters, grandchildren and their families.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Lou Ann Hellar.

Charles leaves behind his long-time soulmate, Tina Tillis; two daughters, Brittany (Eric) Mekolites and Lacey (Robby) Walker all of Columbus; his siblings, Robert (Cheri) Crawford of Follansbee, WV, Judy (Donald) Hanlin of Mingo Jct., OH, Allen Crawford, Gary Crawford, Crystal (Rick) Brown, Shriver Crawford, Jr. and John Crawford all of Adena; six grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews and his dogs, BJ, Ginger, Snap and Smoke.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 5 from 11 am to time of services at 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
