Charles Rocky Emery 50 of Co. Rd. 15 Rayland, Ohio passed away at his home on Saturday Aug. 20, 2005 of natural causes. Rocky was born July 22, 1955 in Steubenville, son of the late John and Kathleen Keiser Emery. He was a retired employee of the Jefferson County Highways Dept. in Smithfield,served as a former Police officer in the Village of Smithfield and was a member of the Pine Valley Sportsman Club. In addition to his parents, Rocky was preceded in death by two brothers; Jerry Paul Emery, Larry Amstutz and his Foster parents Howard and Edna Core. Surviving areHis children; Joseph Charles Emery of Weirton, Jeffrey Bryan Emery of Bloomingdale,Jerri Lynn Emery of Bloomingdale and Riley Charles Emery of Mt. Pleasant. His granddaughter; Paige Elizabeth Emery of Bloomingdale. His brother; John (Connie) Emery of Smithfield, sisters; Millie Emery Hunt of Follansbee, Susan Emery Nixon of Steubenville. A half brother; Richard Emery of Tallmadge, Ohio and his Foster brother; Allen (Cathy) Core of Rayland. Friends and family may call on Tuesday Aug. 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am. until 10:45 am. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield. A graveside committal service will follow at 11:30 am. at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove. Rev. Robert Carson will officiate.
