Concetta A. "Aunt Connie" Penna, 86, of East Liverpool, OH, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.Aunt Connie was born August 19, 1926 in Follansbee, WV, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Homokey Penna.She was a member of the Holy Trinity Parish in East Liverpool; she was retired from the former Thorofare Grocery Store in East Liverpool where she worked as a cashier.Connie was preceded in death by three brothers, Pete, Joseph and Louis Penna; two sisters, Elizabeth Dalesio and Margaret Mosser; three nephews, Anthony Julian DeCesare, Walter Mosser Jr. and Steven Mosser.Surviving are her sister, Helen Julian of Toronto; nephews, Toby DeCesare of Toronto, Raymond (Marlene) Penna of Steubenville, Joseph Penna of Florida, Jamie Penna of Steubenville, Larry (Gerrie) Dalesio of Cameron, WV; nieces, Joan (Bruce) Ollila of Weirton, WV, Janet Penna and Elaine Flaten of CA; sister in law Mildred Penna of Steubenville; great nieces, Vanessa DeCesare, Amy (Scott) Roach, Christina Penna, Karen and Cheryl-Kathy Mosser; great nephews, Steven Mosser, Angelo DeCesare, Larry Joe, Todd and Jason Dalesio, Joey and Ronnie Penna, Chad (Tammy) Ollila. Aunt Connie also leaves behind several great great nieces and nephews.Connie's visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday, May 6 at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH with visitation from 12 noon to 1 pm followed by her funeral service at 1 pm. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate her service.
