Cindi graduated from Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing in December of 1994, where she went on to dedicate 30 years of her life as an RN. She traveled briefly with her license from North Carolina all the way to the beautiful state of Alaska. She ultimately settled back into Trinity where she spent the rest of her career as a floor nurse and a case worker.
Cindi was an avid writer, and she loved to read (mostly Stephen King). She could often be found cross-legged on the floor reading a book to one of her nieces or nephews. She also loved to travel, golf, paint and garden. But what she loved most, and fiercely, was her family and friends. Cindi loved taking her nieces and nephews on long walks, collecting rocks, any new adventure, and telling or acting out silly stories. She always had a smile for a stranger and a story about her friends and family to share. She will be missed fiercely by all those who loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH, and again on Friday from 10 am to 11 am. Cindi’s service will follow at 11 am with Pastor Jim Monogioudis and burial will be private. www.jefosterfh.com
