Dale G. Lanham, 77, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, in the WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Dale was born October 2, 1948, in Doddridge County, WV, son of the late Ernest and Loretta (Sutton) Lanham.

In his younger years, Dale worked as a mechanic and as a gas station attendant. He enjoyed metal detecting and taking walks. Dale had also previously attended the Cornerstone Church in Toronto, OH.

Dale leaves behind his wife, Margaret (Craig) Lanham; sons, James (Teka) Lanham of Steubenville, and Terry (Rachel) Lanham of Westin, WV; daughter, Mary Rose Lanham (fiancé Sandy McCain) of Winslow, AZ; step children, James Montgomery of Toronto, OH, and Margaret Montgomery of Empire, OH; brother, Larry (Susan) Lanham of West Virginia and several grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is being planned at the Cornerstone Church and will be announced in the coming months. Arrangements for Dale are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
