Dan Householder, 77, of Irondale, OH, passed away on February 8, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

He was born on March 18, 1948, son of the late Red and Mary Jane (Bain) Householder, and proudly graduated from Stanton High School, Class of 1967.

Whether spending time with family or sharing stories and laughter with friends, Dan found joy in life's everyday moments. Nothing meant more to him than his family, and the love they shared will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew him.

Dan worked as a school bus driver for Edison Local Schools for 26 years, retiring after a long career doing what he loved, taking care of the kids on his route. He was known for his smile, his jokes, and the kindness he shared, touching many lives both on the bus and in the community. After retiring, Dan was a past social member of the Irondale Fire Department.

Dan leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Connie; his sister, Eunice Claypool; his children, Eric (Annie), Danny (Summer), Christy (Brent), Richard, and Raymond (Jen); 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond "Bud" and Gary Householder, and his granddaughter, Stephanie Householder.

Family and friends are invited to gather at J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH, on Wednesday, February 11, with visitation hours from 2–4 pm and 6–8 pm. A service led by Pastor Dan Crowe will follow at 8 pm.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Though deeply missed, Dan's humor, warmth, and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
