Dana Lyn (Hughes) Treglia, 39, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed away August 27, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh surrounded by family and friends. She was born September 4, 1971 in Steubenville, Ohio to JoAnn (Pekera) Hughes Staten and the late Robert E. Hughes also of Dillonvale, Ohio. Dana is survived by her daughter, Ashley Nicole Hughes of Steubenville, Ohio and her son Nico Anthony Treglia of Dillonvale, Ohio. She is also survived by Lisa A. (Hughes) Hall, sister and her husband Joel Hall of Bradenton, Florida; Amy Beth (Hughes) Burke and her husband Peter K. Burke, of Dillonvale, Ohio and her Nephew Logan S. R. Spencer of Dillonvale, Ohio.Preceding her in death was Dana's former husband, Richard J. Treglia, of Mingo, Ohio.Dana was an avid dog lover and adopted many abused and neglected animals over the years. She is survived by two beloved pets, Malcolm and Shadow, both of Dillonvale, Ohio and was preceded in death by her cherished dog Scooby.A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Dana's life on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert's Church on Main Street in Dillonvale, Ohio and will be followed immediately by a gathering for family and friends at the Smithfield Presbyterian Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be provided in the name of Dana's children Ashley Hughes or Nico Treglia at 674 County Road 20 Dillonvale, Ohio 43917
