Daniel W. Stick Bigsby, 84, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Sunday March 15, 2015 in East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH.

Dan was born Aug. 24, 1930 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late John and Susie (Fields) Bigsby.

He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., and following his retirement, he worked for his cousins roofing company, Paul Bigsby Roofing Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Harriet Clark.

Surviving is his wife, Elizabeth (Smith) Bigsby, whom he married on Oct. 4, 1958, and his son, Brad W. Bigsby of Columbus, OH.

Visitation for Dan will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 12:00 noon til time of his Service at 1:00 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 107 Hill St. in Smithfield. Rev. Mary Ann Smith will officiate his service and burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.
