Darrell George Gossage, 71, of New Cumberland, WV, passed away Sunday Oct. 8, 2023, in the Weirton Medical Center ER in Weirton, WV.

Darrell was born Nov. 21, 1951, in Loudon, TN son of the late George and Helen (Hall) Gossage.

Darrell was currently working as a Plant Engineer at the Sal Chemical Co. in Weirton. Prior to Sal Chemical, he worked for 30 years on the Railroad at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Darrell was also a Master Electrician.

Darrell was a 48-year member of the Weirton Marina.

Surviving is his wife, Sandra J. (Morris) Gossage, whom he married June 24, 1972; son, Ryan E. Gossage (Dana Reagan) of Weirton; two daughters, Darci (Nick) Saggio of Wintersville, OH and Shannon (Dillan) Dwinell of Hopewell, PA; two sisters, Debbie Bailey of Toronto, OH, and Denise Gossage of Westerville, OH; seven grandchildren, Isabella, Levi, and Laska Gossage, Brooklyn and Mason Saggio, Julian and Quinn Dwinell and three nieces, Amanda and Abby Bailey and Ashley McIntosh.

A private family visitation and service will be held at the convenience of the family at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
