David J. Applegarth, 58, of Dillonvale, Ohio passed away Saturday January 9, 2010 in Trinity Medical Center West. Dave was born March 27, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio, son of the late Lewis and Helen Suk Applegarth. Dave was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mingo Plant; where he worked in the pipe shop.. He was a member of St. Adalbert R.C. Church in Dillonvale. Dave also served his country in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents Dave was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Dossett. Dave is survived by his wife Kathleen (Boothe) Applegarth, whom he married on July 10, 1971. His two daughters, Tammy Applegarth and her companion Paul Conaway Jr. of Columbus, Ohio and Mary Applegarth and her companion Rick Matthews of Smithfield. Three grandchildren Caden and Caleigh Conaway and Hudson Matthews. Several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend Dave's Funeral Liturgy with Mass on Wednesday at 10:00 am., at St. Adalbert Church in Dillonvale. A visitation will take place at the Church from 9:15 am. til time of his Funeral Mass. Msgr. John Kolesar will Celebrate his Mass and Burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH.
