David John Ingler, 87, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away April 5, 2024, at his sons home in Conway, SC.

Dave was born May 16, 1936, in Weirton, WV, son of the late David B. and Anna Mae (Burns) Ingler.

He was retired from the Indian Creek School District, formerly the Mingo Chiefs School District, where he taught Industrial Education and History. Dave was also a 60-year member of the Unionport Masonic Lodge #333.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Bertha (Torok) Ingler, daughter Elizabeth Ann Martin, two sisters, Marion Whipkey and Anna Mae Moreland, and one brother, Bill Ingler.

Dave leaves behind his son, David Joseph (Rhonda) Ingler of Conway, SC; his daughter, Lisa Marie (Tom) Heather of Erie, CO; three grandchildren, David Joseph Ingler, Jr., Ryan and Tyler Heather.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 2 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH, where his funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM. Wally Jancura will officiate and burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
