David E. Abe Miller, 65, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday June 9, 2016 at his home.

Dave was born Sept. 21, 1950 in Steubenville, OH, son of Betty G. (McCarthy) Miller, who survives, and the late Ralph B. Abie Miller.

He was retired from the First Energy Corp., Sammis Plant in Stratton, OH, where he was a control room operator.

Dave was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto. He was a 1968 graduate of Toronto High School, a past Cub Scout Leader of Pack #46. Dave was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan and he was a member of the Ohio Valley Game Night Crew on WEIR 1430 radio.

In addition to his mother, Betty Miller of Toronto, Dave is survived by his wife, Lynn (Graubner) Miller, who he married on Oct. 9, 1971; his son Jeremy D. (Jennifer) Miller of Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers, Ralph B. (Judyann) Miller of Schertz, TX and Mark (Amanda) Miller of Newnan, GA; nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Visitation for Dave will be held on Sunday June 12, 2016 from 12 noon to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. His funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 am at the funeral home with Fr. Thomas Vennitti officiating. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
