David Homer "Scotty" Scott, 80, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday Jan. 6, 2025, in the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Dave was born April 4, 1944, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Homer and Ruth (Swickard) Scott.

He retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp with 39 years of service. Dave was a 1962 graduate of Jefferson Union High School.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nikki (Cribb) Scott; three children, Johnathan (Rachael) Scott, Jay (Vase) Scott, and Kerri (Caleb) Meyer; eight grandchildren, Sara, Nicholas, Lucas, Avri, Lily, Charlotte, Bode and Palmer, and one great-grandson, Jaxson.

Dave's wishes were to be cremated. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
