Delbert William Mclaughlin SrBorn on January 29, 1934 died on April 24, 2011 in East Liverpool City Hospital due to lengthy illness.He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Elinor R. Weithe Mclaughlin.He served in The United States Airforce and worked for Steubenville Cable Company (TCI) for many years. He spent many summers at Toronto Band Camp, loved to fish and spend time with his family working on projects or telling stories. He is survived by his sons Albert Mclaughlin of Weirton, WV, Delbert McLaughlin of Toronto, OH, Mr. and Mrs.Bernard McLaughlin of Toronto, OH, Granddaughter Diane (John) Trifonoff of Steubenville, Grandson Jack (Jen) Mclaughlin of Lewiston, MN, Grandson Michael (Angie) McLaughlin of Bingham Lake, MN and 10 other grandchildren, as well as 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his great grandson Jake who loved to sit and listen to his stories about his military service and by all that had the chance to know and love him. There will be a memorial service at Port Homer Community Church May 2, 2011 at 6:30pm to celebrate his life. Burial will be at the convienice of the family in Powhatten, Ohio. The family would like to say a special thanks to 4th floor nursing staff of the East Liverpool City Hospital for all the love and care.
