Diana L. Steele, 72, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 in the Sunnyslope Nursing Facility in Bowerston, OH.

Diana was born February 15, 1953, in Glen Dale, WV, daughter of the late Richard E. and Jacqueline (Grandstaff) Steele.

After high school, Diana earned an associate degree from WV Northern College and worked there as a clerk. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Toronto and the Power Surge Christian Group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Gary Steele and her life partner, Mary Katheryn Strautman.

Surviving is her sister, Debra Blue of Wheeling, WV, nephew Bryan Minor of Wheeling, WV, and her friends, Jody and Jeremy Kelley of Toronto.

Diana wishes were to be cremated, with no services observed. Memorial donations may be directed to the First Methodist Church PO Box 345 Toronto, OH 43964.

Arrangements for Diana are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
