Diane J. Roset, 63, of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Friday July 17, 2009 in the East Ohio Reg. Hospital ER. of natural causes. Diane was born Sept. 24, 1945 in Martins Ferry, daughter of the late Harry and Erma Klapka Torok. She was a former employee of the former Smithfield Co-Op and the former Blue Swan. Diane was a member of the Smithfield Christian Church. She was an active member of the Smithfield V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary and she was an honorary member the Fire Dept. She is survived by her husband Andy, whom she married on Oct. 25, 1969, her daughter Shari (Robert) Staten of Smithfield, two sons, Todd (Lori) Roset and Jeremy Roset all of Smithfield. Four grandchildren; Morgan and Hunter, Kaitlyn, and Madison. Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Rev. Wilford Simeral will officiate the service.
