Dolores Kuhn, 82 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Thursday Aug. 4, 2011 at the Heartland Fairfield Care Center in Pleasantville, Ohio.Dolores was born Aug. 15, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Streb Redmond.Dolores was co-owner of the former Kuhn's Hardware Store in Toronto for 52 years. She was a member of the 1st. United Methodist Church in Toronto and a member of the United Methodist Women's group of the church. She was a Lay Speaker, District Lay Leader, was a Past President of the District U.M.W. She was Past President of the District Council on Ministries and served as Past President of the Board for the Urban Missions.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William M. Kuhn on Aug. 12, 1985 also preceded by three brothers, Ray, Frank and Tom Redmond. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Kuhn of Toronto, Barbara (Bill) Knight of Pickerington, Ohio, three sons, William Kuhn of Alliance, Ohio, David ( Mary Jo) Kuhn and Paul Kuhn all of Toronto. Two brothers, Robert (Nancy) Redmond of Fl. and Don (Jenny) Redmond of Toronto. Three sisters, Vivian (Dick) Kuhn, Carol Ely and Linda (Russell) Hodgkiss all of Toronto. 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday evening 7-9 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio; where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Additional visitation will be on Sat. from 10:00 am up til time of the service. Rev. Paul White will provide Dolores's service and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: The 1st.
