Dolores Jane Long, 77, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away Sunday Sept. 25, 2022, in the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Jane was born Nov. 21, 1944, in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late Herbert Kontra and Myrtle (Whittaker) Kontra Polivka.

Jane was retired from the Labor Local #809. She was also a member of the Smithfield Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her first husband, John Cyrus Brown, second husband, Donald Long; two sisters, Carolyn Bonecutter, and Doris Jean Kujawa.

Surviving is her son, Tim (Dana) Brown of Rayland, OH; two daughters, Penny (Ray) Dennis and Tammy (Scott) Penman both of Brilliant, OH; sister, Sandy Miller of Rayland; brother, Ronald Zeke (Theresa) Kontra of Bloomingdale, OH; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday Sept. 30, 2022, from 12 noon to 2 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH, followed by a final prayer offered by Rev. Craig Smith at 2 pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of Janes family.
