Dolores C. (Tharp) Vecchione, 74, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville.Dolores was born December 26, 1932 in Piedmont, OH, daughter of the late Clyde and Gladys (Milliken) Tharp. She was a retired saleswoman from the Sears Co. where she worked for 35 years. Dolores was also a member of the Church of Christ on Lovers Lane in Steubenville.In addition to her parents Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Armond Vecchione who passed in 1994; her son Ronald Keith McFerren who passed on Nov. 24, 1965; two brothers, Glen and Wayne Tharp; one sister, Jean Coil.Dolores is survived by her son, David and his wife Donna McFerren of Steubenville; step daughter, Jaye Lynn and her husband Thomas Needham of Steubenville; step son, Ronald and his wife Sally Vecchione of Tennessee; her brother, William and his wife Sandy Tharp of Richmond, OH; six grandchildren, David M. McFerren and Carrie Ann McFerren both of Steubenville, Leigh Ann and Crissy Needham both of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Ronald Vecchione Jr. of Virginia and Melody Vecchione of Kentucky.Friends and family may call on Tuesday, November 20 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Dolores's service will be held on Wednesday, November 21 at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Raymond Hagood officiating.
