Donald H. Pinger Long, 78, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Don was born Dec. 11, 1937 in Rush Run, OH, son of the late, Charles and Neva Milhoan Long.

He was retired from Labor Local #809 of Steubenville. He was a member of the Mingo and Jefferson Sportsmans Clubs. Don served his country in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Gray.

Surviving is his wife, Dolores Jane (Kontra) Long, whom he married on May 9, 1986; three sons, Chuck (Sue) Long of Mingo Jct., OH, Jeff (Ylonda) Long of Bloomingdale and Tim (Dana) Brown of Rayland, OH; two daughters, Penny (Ray) Dennis and Tammy Baricska all of Brilliant, OH; his brother, Fred (Theresa) Long of Smithfield, OH; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Per Dons request private family services and burial were held. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield, OH.
