Donald B. McHugh, 81, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Thursday Dec. 24, 2020 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Don was born Feb. 27, 1939 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late J.D. and Marian (Kollar) McHugh.

Don worked for the Hanna Coal Co. pipeline from 1957 to 1963. He retired from PORI International in Weirton, WV, after 36 years of service, as Plant Supervisor. Don was a farmer at heart and an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother Roger, his nephew Larry McCoy, and an infant sister Marian Marlene.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rosemary A. (Phillips) McHugh; two sons, Todd (Carie) McHugh and Mathew (Alexandra) McHugh; four very special grandchildren; two special nieces, Nola and Lucy; his brother, Gerald McHugh, two sisters, Esther (Lamont) McCoy and Dorothy (Andy) Toth and his mother-in-law, Roberta Phillips all of Smithfield.

The funeral service for Don will be held Wednesday Dec. 30, 2020 at 1 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM and burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield. www.jefosterfh.com
