Donald George "Boomer" Price, 81 of Toronto, OH was called home by his Heavenly Father Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Weirton Medical Center. Don was born May 11, 1932 in Toronto, son of the late Elmer J. and Anna C. Benning Price. Don was retired from Timet Titanium Metals Plant in Toronto where he worked in the Lab; he was Methodist by faith, a member of the Toronto Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Toronto American Legion. Don was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. having served his country during the time of the Korean War.In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his three brothers, David, John (Jack) and Thomas Price.Surviving are his children, daughter Susan (William) Franke, daughter Pamela (William) Williams and son Donald A. Price all of Toronto, daughter Karen (Ron) Rock of Wooster, OH, son Jeffrey C. Price of Toronto, daughter Janet (Darren) Young of Columbus, OH; his beloved companion of 25 years Toots Metzgar of Wellsville, OH and his sister Evelyn (Gregory) Bahen of Steubenville, OH. Don was the very proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Visitation for Don will be held on Monday, from 4-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Rev. Michael Bongart will officiate and following the service the Toronto American Legion will perform Military Honors at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
