Donna Rae Ensell, 75, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her home.

Donna was born December 17, 1950, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Franklin P. and Betty Marie (Canyock) Ensell. Donna was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Ensell Barach, her brother Robert ‘Bob’ Ensell and her great-great nephew Liam McIntyre.

Many would remember seeing her at the Steubenville J.C. Penney, where she worked as a supervisor, until her retirement. 

Surviving is her husband, Val Gene “Butch” King, whom she married on May 29, 2021; son, Joshua Alan (Madison) Oberholtzer of Toronto; grandchildren, Gerald DeiCas, Ellie, Ryleigh, and Faith Oberholtzer, Jessica Barach, Grace Barach, and one great-granddaughter, Lorelai Zullo; three sisters, Sharon Buracchio of Toronto, Sue Goich of Columbia, MO, and Kimberly (Lou) Rivett of Youngsville, PA; two brothers, Franklin P. (Norma) Ensell, Jr. of Steubenville and Jim Ensell of Maumee, OH; sister-in-law, Vicki Ensell of Toronto, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 20 from 1 to 4 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes in Toronto, where services will follow at 4 pm led by Rev. Kevin Rinkes.

Memorial donations may be directed to the funeral home, to help with expenses, or Valley Hospice.
