Obituary

Doris J. "Dolly" Colvin, 79, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Friday May 13, 2011 in Trinity Medical Center West. Dolly was born July 10, 1931 in Empire, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and Jane (Knight) Waggoner. Dolly was a homemaker; she attended the Cornerstone Church in Toronto and was an alumnus of Toronto High School. Her hobbies included playing bingo, cards, and working puzzles. She loved watching her favorite soap "Days", talking to all her friends and going to her daughter Barbara's house in the country.In addition to her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Charles J. Colvin, who passed away in 1997, infant twin sons, her step-granddaughter Beth A. (Wallace) Cline. Also preceded by three sisters, Clara Brown, Olive Waggoner, Edna Glasure, also seven brothers, Eddie, Wilber "Wib", Leonard, Charles "Chow", Dave, Arthur "Popeye" and Ralph Waggoner. Surviving are her children, Carole A. (Jack) Bridgman of TX, Barbara A. (John) Wallace of Hanoverton, Charles "Dave" Colvin and Karen (John) Rood both of Toronto. Surviving also is her sister Sarah "Sally" Holland and her Brother Oliver "Pickles" (Sug) Waggoner both of Toronto. 7 grandchildren, Angie K. Colvin of Columbus, Tammy L. Seevers of Hanoverton, David James Colvin, Megan M. Rood, Joseph W. "Joey" Rood, all of Toronto, John Bridgman of Wis. and Jason Bridgman of TX. 2 Step-Grandchildren, Brian K. Wallace and Heidi J. (Wallace) Pecorelli, both of Wellsville. 11 Great-Grandchildren Joseph, Josh and Katelin Bridgman all of Wis., Mariah Bridgman and Jason Charles Bridgman both of MI., Jordan Berarducci and Kadence Bridgman both of Texas, Faith Colvin, Angalise Marie Polimine and David J. Colvin Jr., all of Toronto, James R. Burris of Hanoverton. 2 Step-Great-Grandchildren, Olivia K. Cline and Gianna N. Pecorelli both of Wellsville. Her special family friends, Courtney and Kaelyn Cunningham. Visitation for Dolly will be on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where her services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Pastor Raul Diaz will officiate her service and burial will follow in Sugar Grove Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: Cornerstone Church, 423 N. 5th St. Toronto, Ohio. 43964.
