January 8, 1932 – February 25, 2015
Doris M. Conlon, 83, of Toronto, OH, finally met her Savior after serving Him faithfully all her life on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She passed peacefully at her home with her family by her side.
Doris was born January 8, 1932 in Toronto, daughter of the late William and Mary Straka White.
She was a member of the Toronto Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. She previously worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas who passed in 1996 and her two sisters, Phyllis Alvis and Shirley Wargo.
Doris leaves behind her son, Tom (Brenda) Conlon of Annapolis, MD; her three daughters, Pam (John) DeLorenzo of Knoxville, TN, Faith (Don) Hebb of Marietta, OH and Jennifer (Steve) Matyas of Toronto; her two brothers, Don (Debbie) White of Stratton, OH and Roger White of Aurora, OH. She also is survived by her nine grandchildren, Megan, Sarah, Ryan and Erin Conlon, Jonathan and Lauren Hebb. Conlan and Hayden DeLorenzo and Sydney Matyas.
Visitation for Doris will be held on Friday, Feb. 27 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where her funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 am. There will be additional visitation Saturday morning from 10 am til time of her service at 11 am. Pastor Rich Nigthingale will officiate her service and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery in Toronto.
Memorial donations may be made in Doris memory to the Toronto Wesleyan Church 211 South Third St. Toronto, OH 43964.
