Doris J. Frazee, 87, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Thursday Oct. 16, 2014 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

She was born Aug. 9, 1927 in Cadiz, OH, daughter of the late James Steakley and the late Mildred N. Hill Steakley Gilkey.

Doris was formerly employed at the former Ft. Steuben Hotel in Steubenville. She was a member of the Colonial Baptist Church in Wintersville, OH, also AARP and an American Red Cross Volunteer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Frazee, in 1989, an infant great-grandson Mark Edward Hennen in 2008 and her brother Fredrick.

Surviving are her four daughters, Carol (Harry) Stonebraker and Linda (Edward) Hennen all of Amsterdam, OH, Tammy (Willy) Rawson of Steubenville with whom she resided and Denise (John) Wickham of Bloomingdale, OH. Doris is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Tommy, Brenda, Shawn, Amy, Cory, Chad, Tiffany and Megan and her 10 great-grandchildren with one more one on the way.

Visitation for Doris will be held on Sunday Oct. 19, 2014 from 2-5 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. in Toronto, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10 am. Pastor Randy Sells will officiate her service and entombment will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
