Doris Jean (Halligan) Keenan, 54, of Empire, Ohio passed away Thursday Feb. 28, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center West. She was born March 31, 1953 in Jeffersonville, Ind., daughter of the late John Leroy and Billie Cunningham Halligan. She was a homemaker and was a former nurse's aid. She was a member of the Empire United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by; her husband Henry Keenan in 1999 and a brother David Halligan in 1988. Surviving are her daughter Rene (Mitchell) Zalduondo, residing in Rapid City, S.D., her grandson, Brandon Mitchell Zalduondo of Rapid City, and her brother Michael ( Pat) Halligan of Toronto. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Doris on Sunday March 2, 2008 at 4:00 pm., at the Empire United Methodist. Rev. Al Talkington will officiate the service. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery near Empire at the convenience of Doris's family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Empire United Methodist Church 84 1st.
