Doris J. Price, 83, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday April 5, 2017 in the Country Club Manor in Steubenville, OH

Doris was born Dec. 3, 1933 in Toronto, daughter of the late Harry and Rose Peters.

She was retired from the former Staceys IGA in Toronto where she worked as a cashier for over 25 years. Doris was a graduate of Toronto High School and a proud Red Knight fan.

She was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church singing in the choir for many years. She also shared her voice with the community singing God Bless America for many Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies. Doris was also a member of the Toronto American Legion Ladies Aux., where she was Treasurer for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Jack Price; sister, Patricia Peters; brother, Bill Mulrooney and grandson, Josh Robinson.

Doris leaves behind her three daughters, Christine (Greg) Dormer, Kathy (Tom) Robinson and Lori Chetock, all of Toronto; her son, Keith (Michelle) Price of Middleburg Hgts., OH;her seven grandchildren, Aaron (Melissa) Dormer, Hollie (Matt) Orr, Justin Price, Megan (Greg) Goga, Courtney Robinson, Mollie and Nick Chetock; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Marjorie Villies of Indiana and sister-in-law, Evelyn (Greg) Bahen of Steubenville.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Kovacik officiating. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. American Legion Aux. service will be held Friday evening at 7pm.
