Doris Naomi (Eger) Thomas was born in Toronto, OH, on January 14, 1932, to 'George' Constantine and Eva (Williamson) Eger and was gathered peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, in the afternoon, on April 13, 2025.

The youngest of seven children (Mildred, Jean, Geraldine, Philip, Junior, Ralph), she loved outdoor activities from planting flowers to hiking through the woods with family - the last of which she did in 2023.

Doris was a 1951 graduate of Toronto High School and a member of the Gospel Hall in Toronto. She worked many places and jobs, starting with Isaly's in 'downtown' Toronto. Doris also worked in the cafeteria at the University of Steubenville.

In 1952, Doris met and later married William 'Bill' Clinton Thomas with whom she reared four children: Cynthia (Larry Hardwick), Kathi (John Plohal), Ronald (Ginger Montgomery), Donald (Diane Wood), seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A private graveside service for Doris will be held at the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto. Arrangements for Doris are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
