Dorothy (Torbica) Bertram, 88, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 04, 2010 in Acuity Specialty Hospital in Steubenville, OH.Dorothy was born June 30, 1921 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Sam and Melia (Josbasich) Torbica.Dorothy was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Steubenville; she was also a former cashier at the old A and P in Steubenville.In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel, Mele and George Torbica; grandson David Winters; nephew Richard Torbica and her loving friend Nick Giannaras. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, William L. (Joann) Bertram of Steubenville, OH; Robert L. (Loretta) Bertram of Toronto, OH; her daughter Carol Winters of Westerville, OH; seven grandchildren, Rhonda Kelly, Jodi (Chris) Smathers, Robert L., Jr. (Amy) Bertram, triplets, Tim (Jenna) Winters, Sean Winters and Bob Winters and Willy Bertram; granddaughter-in-law Kelli Winters Billman. Dorothy is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Torbica and nieces and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Friday, May 7 from 11am-1pm followed by her funeral service at 1pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.
