Dorothy M. Gam (Bonitati) Bottegal, 96, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH. Gam was not only the heart of her family, she was their rock.

Gam was born May 19, 1920 in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Ascenzo and Margherita (Cipriani) Bonitati.

She was part owner of the former A. Bonitati & Sons Chevrolet Oldsmobile Dealership in Toronto and she was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ledo J. Bottegal who passed in 1964, her daughter Gloria J. Keenan who passed in 2005; four brothers, Paul, Leonard, Jimmy and Patsy Bonitati and two sisters, Jean Monaco and Josephine Griffin.

Gam leaves behind her daughter, Linda J. Antonucci of Toronto; her son-in-law, Jimmy Joe Keenan also of Toronto; her five grandchildren, Renae (Kurt) Yancey of Athens, AL, Melanie Antonucci and her fianc Mark Lacerte of Charlotte, NC, Jamie (Jon) Keenan Burke of Orlando, FL, Anthony Antonucci of Tampa, FL and Ryan Keenan of Orlando, FL; her four great-grandchildren, Jaylyn and Jazdyn Burke and Paxton and Presley Yancey; her special niece and caregiver, Tammie (Baber) Cernansky of Toronto and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Wednesday from 3-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Her Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 am at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto with Fr. Thomas Vennitti celebrating. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.

Additional visitation will be held in the rear of the church Thursday morning from 9:15 am til time of Mass at 10 am. A Vigil Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 pm.
