Dorothy M. Rosnick, 80, of Rayland, OH, passed away on Saturday May 30, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was born on May 22, 1946, in Bens Run near Friendly, WV, daughter of the late Laymon and Dolly (Brewer) Speech.

She was a homemaker who loved her entire family.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, George Rosnick, grandson George Michael Thomas on June 4, 2025, six brothers and six sisters.

Surviving are her children, Tina Sampson, and Ralph (Stephane) Thomas both of Weirton, WV, Davis Kuster, Jr. of Rayland, Jerry Kuster of Colliers, WV, Frank (Wendi) Kuster of Weirton, and Richard Kuster also of Colliers; granddaughter Alley Lessard, whom she raised, and her brother Donald Speece of Weirton; eleven grandchildren, including Alley, Amber (Matt) Waskevich, James (Crystal) Thomas, James Carnes, Nicole (Shawn) Leggett, Scott (Lexy) Thomas, Mary Beth Robinson, Devon Thomas, Kendra, Blake, Luka Jai Kuster and twenty one great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, she will be cremated, with no services observed. Arrangements are entrusted to J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH.
