Dorothy M. (Kirk) Simeral, 91 of Adena, OH, passed away Thursday Feb. 14, 2013 at the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH. Dorothy was born May 14, 1921 in Adena, OH, daughter of the late Charles and Tacy Hall Kirk. She was a homemaker and a member of the Smithfield Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Robert Simeral, who passed away on June 5, 2003 and her brother Walter Kirk. Surviving are her children, Wilford (Anna) Simeral of Adena, OH, Kenneth (Patricia) Simeral of Richmond, OH, and Carolyn (Bruce) Simeral Beery of Durham, NC; two brothers, William (Marilyn) Kirk of CA, Oliver (Sara) Kirk of Adena and her sister, Anna (Victor) Peacock of Barnesville, OH; nine grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service in remembrance of Dorothy will be held on Sunday Feb. 24, 2013 at 2 pm at the Harrisville Covenant Presbyterian Church. Rev. Barry Hall will conduct the Service.
