Dorothy M. Willis, 84, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Friday Feb. 21, 2020 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

Dorothy was born Jan. 26, 1936 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Wilbur and Irene (Rickabaugh) Harris.

She was a former manager for the Van Heusen Corp. in Nags Head, NC and she also worked at Denmarks in Steubenville. She was Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, William D. Willis, Oct. 1979; her daughter, Pamela S. Fitts, July 2018; two sisters, Janet Corston and Ruth Hanlin; four brothers, Robert, Donald, Richard and Wayne Harris.

Surviving is her son, Richard T. Willis of Wintersville; two daughters, Sheryl J. (Lee) McClelland of Steubenville and Darlene (Jon) Sperry of Stratton, OH; 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 2 great-granddaughters, 1 great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday Feb. 25, 2020 from 11 am to 1 pm followed by her funeral service at 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Pastor David Ray will officiate. Burial in Union Cemetery in Steubenville will be held at the convenience of the family.
