Douglas R. Perkins, 45, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.Doug was born February 18, 1968 in East Liverpool, OH, son of Randall D. and Sherry L. Piatt Perkins.Doug was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local #186 in Steubenville, OH.In addition to his parents, Randall and Sherry Perkins of New Somerset, Doug is survived by his wife, Cindy L. (Lanning) Perkins of their home, whom he married on May 1, 1999; daughter Shea L. Whitten and son Coedy Perkins and his granddaughter Zoey L. Whitten all of home; his maternal grandmother Jackie Piatt; his sister Shelley (Russell) Easter and brother Robert M. "Pete" Perkins all of New Somerset. Doug also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.Visitation for Doug will be held today, Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 4 at 11am with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating. Visitation will take place from 10am til time of the Doug's Service. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
