Douglas T. 'Mutt' Tice, 48, of Toronto, OH (New Somerset), passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.Doug was born November 29, 1964 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late James Tice and Edna Keeder Tice who survives.Doug was Methodist by faith and a member of the How'd You Miss Hunting Club, Toronto Band Camp and he loved to hunt and fish.In addition to his father, Doug was preceded in death by his granddaughter Abbigael White and his brother Scott Tice.He leaves behind his wife, Lisa R. (Miller) Tice of home whom he married on Nov. 12, 1983; his two daughters, Stephanie (Benjamin) White of East Liverpool, OH, and Brittany Tice and her companion Nick Johnson of home; his mother Edna of New Somerset; four sisters, Debbie (Richard) Householder and Becky Tice both of New Somerset, Trudy (Gerald) Miller of Negley, OH and Karen (Tim) Rose of New Somerset; two granddaughters, Kyia and Lillian White; his best friend Corey Freeman of Toronto, and Mutt also leaves behind nieces, nephews and many friends.Visitation for Doug will be held on Sunday, November 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH where his funeral service will be held Monday, November 18 at 11 am. Rev. Steve Smith will officiate his service and burial will follow in Hammondsville Cemetery in Hammondsville, OH.
