Dustan L. Dusty Harkins, 65, of Yorkville, OH, formerly of Smithfield, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at his home.

Dusty was born June 9, 1949 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Earl and Dora Matthews Harkins.

He was previously employed as a coal miner and an insurance agent with A.L. Williams Ins. Co. Dusty served his country during Vietnam in the US Navy.

In addition to his parents, Dusty was preceded in death by first wife Candance Marie (Brown) Harkins, who passed in 1989.

Dusty leaves behind his three sons, Dusty (Marla) Harkins of Columbus, OH, Zach (Maggie) Harkins of Smithfield and Gabriel Harkins of Tiltonsville, OH; his brother, David (Gina) Harkins of AZ; his sister, Debbie Harkins also of AZ and Bev Felton of Weirton, WV; his grandson, Trey Harkins.

There are no services being held at this time, a graveside service will be announced and held at a later date. Dustys arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH.
