Edith Marie Wilson, 93, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Tuesday Dec. 20, 2016 in the Weirton Geriatric Center in Weirton, WV.

Edith was born March 23, 1923 in Connoquenessing, PA, daughter of the late Walter and Katherine (Stoffer) Sneathen.

She was formerly employed at the Steubenville Pottery in Pottery Addition and she was a housekeeper for Dr. Minor.

In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Wilson, 1997; her two sisters, Helen Wilson and Dorothy Meeks and by her two brothers, Leroy and Glen Sneathen.

Surviving is her son Richard A. Rick Wilson of Steubenville; her daughter, Cindy (Wayne) Pearson of Toronto, OH, and her sister Alberta Miller of FL; her two grandchildren, Jace (Emily) Pearson and Jenna (Chris) Minor all of Wintersville, OH, and her two great-granddaughters, Navi and Adrie Pearson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Dec. 27, 2016 from 10 am til time of Ediths Funeral Service at 12 noon at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate her service and burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville.
