EDWARD RAY ROSET 47 of Moundsville, W.Va., formerly of Smithfield, Ohio died Monday June 7, 2004. He was born Sept. 21, 1956 in Martins Ferry, Ohio son of Joseph and Thelma Ruth (Compston) Roset, both who survive of Tuscaloosa, Ala. He was formerly employed for Consol Coal Co., Jim Walters Coal Mine, and was a freelance writer for more than 20 years. Preceded in death by two Grandfathers; Donald Compston and Joe Roset. In addition to his parents, Ed is survived by; his son; Timothy Roset of Woodsfield, Ohio; his daughter; Stacey Roset of Woodsfield, a brother; Ron and wife Debbie Roset of Tuscaloosa, Ala., his grandmothers; Ruth Compston of Moundsville and Theda Roset of Cadiz. Uncles; Donnie Compston, Andy and wife Diane Roset , Jim and wife Carol Roset . Graveside Services for Ed will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm. at the Hopewell Cemetery located near Rayland, Ohio.
