Edward J. Stacey, 64, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Wed. Dec. 28, 2022, in the Golden Oaks Residential Board and Care Facility in Follansbee, WV.

Ed was born Nov. 11, 1958, in E. Liverpool, OH, son of the late Edward W. and Mary (McFaul) Stacey.

Ed was owner of the former Staceys IGA Grocery in Toronto. He enjoyed RV-ing and bonfires. Eds favorite pastime was meeting every dog he could find in each campground. His favorite charity was KOA Care Camps.

Ed spent many hours as the engineer of the Rainbow Train, raising money to help children cancer patients camp safely.

Ed is survived by his wife, Julie L. (Willoughby) Stacey, whom he married Nov. 18, 2002; father to Alisha (Jason Speaker) and Ed (Elisha) Stacey; stepfather to Jessica Russell and Christina Means; grandfather to Zoe, Noah, Olivia, Rylee, Wyatt, Leland, Eddie, and Lela; brother to Linda Atchison.
