Eileen F. (Kramer) Cernansky, 90, of Toronto, OH, passed away peacefully Monday, December 04, 2017 in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Eileen was born Dec. 8, 1926 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Patton) Kramer.

She was a former telephone operator for Ohio Bell in Steubenville along with being a homemaker raising her 4 sons.

Eileen was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and the Catholic Womens Club. She was also a member of the Toronto Sunrise Senior Citizens and she was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, John Jack Cernansky who passed Nov. 21, 2008; her infant sister, Kathleen; her brothers, Joe and John Kramer and Larry Delaney.

Eileen leaves behind her four sons, Michael (Bridget), Larry, Dan Baber (Tammie) Cernansky all of Toronto and Rich (Kristen) Cernansky of Steuebnville; her two sisters, Barbara Austin of IN and Roberta Hanley of Weirton, WV; her special friend, Jay Smith of Toronto; her nine grandchildren, Ryan (Kim) Cernansky of Alliance, OH, Justin (Katie) Cernansky of Mayfield Village, OH, Jared Cernansky of St. Louis, MO, Kiley, Zak and Jordan Cernansky of Toronto, Cody Cernansky of Columbus, OH; two step-grandchildren, Ashley Hobbs of ND and Lance Hobbs of SD; her five great-grandchildren, Colin, Quinn, Piper, Theo and Ellie Cernansky.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 1-4 & 6-9 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Her Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Thursday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate the Mass and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.

Addition visitation will be held on Thursday in the rear of the church from 9:15 am til Mass at 10. A Vigil Service will be held at 3:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
