Obituary
Eleanor Jane Martin, 78, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
Eleanor was born March 9, 1945 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Gerald M. and Bessie (Dawley) Martin.
She was a member of the Friends Church in Smithfield.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Dawson and brother, Derol Martin.
Surviving are sisters, Anita Carson and husband Thomas Edward and Rita Zifal both of Smithfield; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Martin of Piney Fork, and several nieces and nephews.
Eleanor will be laid to rest next to her parents in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH. Her arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield.
