Eleanor E. (Straka) Turick, 76, of Wintersville, OH, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Eleanor was born Dec. 17, 1941 in Toronto, daughter of the late George and Stella (Radeski) Straka.

She was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was proceeded in death by her husband, Richard; two daughters, Michelle and Janet Turick; two sons, David and Richard Turick; two sisters, Mary Ann VanKirk and Janie Voorhees.

Eleanor leaves behind her two daughters, Angie Turick and Bridgette Simpson both of Toronto; her son, Eric Turick of Toronto and her sister, Marcia Bishop of Toronto. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Shawna Bodiford, Shawn Rood, Hillary Simpson, Julia Scott and Ivan Carrick and her two great-grandchildren, Bryce Height and AaLayah Simpson.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 7 from 9:30 am to 11 am in the rear of St. Francis Church in Toronto. Her Funeral Liturgy with Mass will start at 11 am with Fr. Thomas Vennitti celebrating and her burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
