Elizabeth 'Betty' M. Sabol, 79, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday Oct. 11, 2008 in the Kobacker House Hospice in Columbus, Ohio.Betty was born Aug. 15, 1929 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert L. and Mary J. Poulson Mackenzie. Betty was an Educator, Musician and Artist. She was a graduate of Ohio University and is a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Sabol Jr., and by her brother Robert G. Mackenzie. Surviving are; her Son John M. 'Mac' (Julianna) Sabol of Syracuse, NY., her Daughter; Jan (Steven) Simonis of Powell, Ohio. Three Grandchildren; Ricki Ann Oen, Nicholas J. Oen and John F. Simonis. Two Sisters; Mary Ada Heinmiller of Rock Hill, S.C., Alice Oliver of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. and a sister-in-law, Minnie MacKenzie of Reynoldsburg, OH. Friends and family may call on Friday from 2- 4 and 6-8 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday morning at St. Francis R.C. Church locted on Findley St. in Toronto; from 9:15am. until Betty's Funeral Liturgy with Mass which will be at 10:00am. Father Thomas Vennitti will be the Celebrant and Burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery Toronto.
